[Bug 1421192] Re: Initial boot wizard does not include timezone

 

+1 with Saviq, ideally we should detect the timezone via WiFi or GSM.
The initial wizard is not the correct place for this setting anyways. If
the time is set wrongly for whatever reason, users should be able to
amend it in system settings.

Bug description:
  During the initial boot the Ubuntu phone asks information regarding
  various things like language, passcode etc. Timezone or date/time is
  not asked, it always defaults to UTC+0.

  This confirmed with Ubuntu 14.10(r16) and 15.04(r01)
