Re: [Bug 1359539] Re: Problem with Burmese characters disapearing

Christopher,

Unfortunately I don't have access to my computers or an internet connection
except my phone at the moment. But I would like to see this bug fixed.
Could you email me a screen shot? Just select the standard Ubuntu Burmese
keyboard layout and type the u and m keys.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Thanks for all the good work you guys do.

Title:
  Problem with Burmese characters disapearing

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Certain Bumese characters go blank if preceeded by a consonant. For
example, ာ (m key with Burmese layout selected) displays fine by
itself. But following က (u key) nothing appears on the screen.

You can even type ာ first and it will display, then type က before it,
  and it will disapear.

I encountered this behaviour in both Writer and Kate.
