Sorry for the slow response...

To be honest I'm not 100% sure but having reproduced this one I dont think

Title:
  Frequent launcher freezes on Krillin

Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Over the last few releases I have noticed that the launcher often
freezes when it is 'pulled' onscreen.

This manifests itself by you not being able to scroll the launcher
content up and down (you need to have enough apps on the launcher to
  make it 'overflow').

Closing the launcher and waiting for 15+ seconds or so usually cures
the problem however sometimes it requires a restart.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be any pattern as to which apps
are running for this to happen.
