For the carousels it seems to be slow when the images are loading. Once
it's loaded it's smooth. So similar symptom to the dash but maybe
different problems and solutions.

  Dash is slow to respond when switching between scopes with right/left edge swipes. Rotating the carousels in the news, music or photo scope is also really slow. Sometimes the scope doesn't even process the gesture.
  I tried with USB cable plugged and unplugged it doesn't seem to make a difference. The top process is 'unity8-dash' and there is nothing else using lot of CPU. After a moment the device becomes more responsive.
