Message #58840
[Bug 1426363] Re: I-dt should send the alarm QOrganizerItemId to the clock app when the user clicks on an alarm shown in the indicator
Required for bug #1387210
nik90, indicator-datetime isn't using qtorganizer. Could you (1)
translate this into ical, e.g. in this ticket include a tasks.ics
snippet showing a sample alarm declaration and point to the item that
needs to be sent to clock-app, and (2) describe the form of the URL that
you want dispatched? indicator-datetime currently launches clock-app by
calling dispatch_url("appid://com.ubuntu.clock/clock/current-user-
version")

Title:
I-dt should send the alarm QOrganizerItemId to the clock app when the
user clicks on an alarm shown in the indicator
Status in indicator-datetime package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When users press on an alarm shown in the indicator-datetime, the
clock app is supposed to be open with that specific alarm details
shown. However at the moment the clock app does not know which alarm
was pressed. It requires i-dt to send QOrganizerItemId to the clock
app when this happens.
