Subject: [Bug 1413201] Re: Re: date setted to 1970
To: Christopher M. Penalver
Hi Christopher, thanks for your support! I didn't know Quantal reached EOL. How do I upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr? (4th record from current list on wiki) Warning: I can't open secured http-websites. But I'll be happy if you e-mail me the install-code,
I can work a little bit with the terminal screen. Thanks in advance, Raisa

It is strongly recommended you immediately backup your data, and do a
fresh reinstall via http://releases.ubuntu.com/trusty/ . It sounds like
your machine is either suffering from critical software errors, or your
machine is compromised. Upgrading would not be a great idea in this
case.

Title:
  date setted to 1970

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Everything worked normal until that day in November 2013. I started
the netbook and suddenly the date was set on 01-01-1970. I tried to
change it myself, but couldn't do it. Also surfing is a problem: it
  won't open https-websites anymore.

Thanks in advance for your help.
