Re: [Bug 1432792] [NEW] In vivid on krillin the volume will suddenly shoot up on an audio stream as soon as that stream finishes it returns
You're not using a build with a version of pulseaudio that still has
flat volumes enabled by chance are you? This is the kind of thing I
would expect to happen with flat volumes enabled...

Title:
In vivid on krillin the volume will suddenly shoot up on an audio
stream as soon as that stream finishes it returns
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
STEPS:
Fast method
1 Install machines vs machines
2. Play the game at some point one of the weapons firing will raise the volume from 50% to 100% as soon as the weapon stream stops it returns to 50%
Slow method:
1. open the music app play an album repeatedly one track will suddenly play at full volume
EXPECTED:
I expect all audio streams to be at the same volume
ACTUAL:
1 out of multiple tracks will be an order louder. If all the previous tracks sound like they are at 50% the loud one would be at 100% as soon as that audio stream finishes the volume returns until the next time it randomly doubles in loudness.
