[Bug 1409606] Re: Default keyboard colour scheme slows users down

I think the main thing slowing typing down is not the visual design but
lack of predictive input in terms of adjusting the touch area sizes
around the keys based on what the user is typing. For comparison,
Android 5 doesn't have the buttons at all, just characters and
background colour - and typing is still fast.

Default keyboard colour scheme slows users down

Bug description:
I feel the default keyboard colour scheme is slowing me down.

It's made up of grey and white. This does not provide adequate visual
contrast to be able to type as quickly as I can on other devices. I
feel a slight mental pause as I have to expend slightly more effort to
distinguish the similarly coloured elements in the keyboard.
