[Bug 1422762] Re: Camera should not change behavior when rotation lock is on

This bug was fixed in the package camera-app -
3.0.0+15.04.20150313-0ubuntu1

---------------
camera-app (3.0.0+15.04.20150313-0ubuntu1) vivid; urgency=medium

  [ CI Train Bot ]
  * New rebuild forced.

  [ Florian Boucault ]
  * Disable editing when the file is a video
  * Fix photos/videos when shooting/recording with orientation lock on
    by not relying on the app orientation returned by unity8 but instead
    the device orientation itself. (LP: #1428272, #1422762)
  * Show placeholder bottom edge hint when no option is set so that the
    user can always guess the existence of the bottom edge. (LP:
    #1365419)
  * Updated pot file

  [ Ugo Riboni ]
  * Refactor camera editor tests, make them work even if UI extras are
    not installed, and add a test for the edit button being disabled
    when on a video

Title:
  Camera should not change behavior when rotation lock is on

Status in Camera App:
  In Progress
Status in camera-app package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  (from mailing list)

  On Bq 4.5 running RTM r17

  1) enable screen rotation lock
  2) take a photo horizontally
  3) disable screen rotation lock
  4) rotate the phone in any way, the photo is rotated incorrectly, as
  if it was originally taken vertically

  I think that the camera application should ignore the rotation lock or
  at least, implant the actual (correct) orientation into the taken
  photo.
