Title:
Cannot connect to "Eduroam" wifi Network
Status in indicator-network package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Eduroam is a wifi Network the uses IEEE 802.1x Authentication technology. It is used in most higher institutuions acrosss Europe and other parts of the world.
The network requires a username and password when connecting, instead of just a Wifi key for traditional Wifi networks.
Ubuntu desktop can connect to this network, however, Ubuntu touch
cannot.
I have tried copying the config file for the network from Network
Manager on Ubuntu desktop to the same location on the phone using "adb
push", but this didn't do anything.
Here's a video I recorded of what happens when you try to connect.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnbLZ0EmPYc .
This affects me because, as I am in the university right now,
"Eduroam" is my only source of internet connection.
