Merlijn, we need our design to look into this and evaluate it.

I'm leaning towards this not being needed, because no app can make sound
if it's in the background, other than talking to the media hub, which
will (doesn't yet, but will) display a per-app entry in the sound
indicator menu and will allow you to pause/resume from there.

Bug description:
  This is a feature request.

  It would be very useful if an app making sound would get a "speaker"
  overlay icon in the launcher, like what happens on chrome tabs.
