[Bug 1283763] Re: Cannot connect to WPA Enterprise networks
Hi there!
I just managed to get connected to the so called "eduroam" wireless
network that uses enterprise WPA by following the instructions given at
http://www.danbishop.org/2015/02/21/add-eduroam-or-any-other-802-1x-
wireless-network-to-ubuntu-phone/
ADDITIONALLY I had to change the ownership of the connection file as well as the usergroup to 'root'.
It is just a workaround, but it is not that difficult if you have installed the terminal app.

Title:
Cannot connect to WPA Enterprise networks
Status in indicator-network package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I cannot connect to a wireless network that uses enterprise WPA (which
asks not only for a password but also for a username) on a Touch
device.
It seems like there is just no GUI implemented to handle that, as
nothing happens when I ty to connect.
