Message #67619
[Bug 1439628] Re: Text in 'Updates' screen
It says checking for update in the default English US on the BQ!
Turns out the text is being truncated because there is a hidden retry button that limits the space.

Title:
Text in 'Updates' screen
Status in ubuntu-system-settings package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
When checking for updates in the 'Updates' screen the text says
'Checking for update...'.
This is inconsistent with the title of the screen which uses the
plural 'Updates'. The message text should probably also use the plural
form and say 'Checking for updates...'
This is on Ubuntu 14.10 (r20).
