Message #68382
[Bug 1440383] Re: see: can't handle files with spaces in name
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/mime-
support.git/commit/?id=40f72a77b42803248aad4e4e631449cdd1a61332
That was fixed in upstream but in v3.55, so it's in Utopic only.

Title:
see: can't handle files with spaces in name
Status in mime-support package in Ubuntu:
New
Status in mime-support package in Debian:
Unknown
Bug description:
'see' command can't open files if they contains spaces in their name -
they are not escaped and so it will try to open several files with
incorrect names.
How to reproduce:
$ touch 'test test.pdf'
$ see 'test test.pdf'
Result: it will open atril twice with 'Error opening file: No such
file or directory' message.
Also, if filename will contain at least one bracket everything will
work fine, eg:
$ touch 'test test[.pdf'
$ see 'test test[.pdf'
That command will open only one instance of atril.
Reproduced in 'mime-support 3.54ubuntu1.1'.
