Title:
Hybrid graphics: switching to discrete by using switcheroo make screen
going black
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
How to reproduce:
* In lightdm login screen, switch to tty2 (Ctrl+Alt+F2)
* Execute this after login:
sudo su
service lightdm stop
echo DDIS > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch
# frozen here, can't switch to other ttys; but keyboard input is still received, eg.:
reboot
Actually I want to switch to AMD Radeon graphics, because in X session
it would not work.
