Title:
Sony 72" Display Causing Crash on Re-awake
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I have hooked up my computer to two monitors. I have a ASUS graphics
card with an HDMI and a DVI port. I have a DVI to HDMI adapter, so I
have hooked that up to two Samsung 22" monitors through the HDMI
inputs. This works fine.
But whenever I hook up the second monitor to my Sony 72" TV to watch
movies on through the HDMI input, then we have issues. I have my
Power settings to go to sleep after 30 minutes. So we'll be watching
a movie on the tv streamed through a browser, and then after 30
minutes the computer will go to sleep. This is ok, but when I try to
wake up the computer it seems frozen, and then shows a bunch of
messages I can't understand on a black screen.
