[Bug 1447796] Re: Some icons are not visible

Sorry about that, no one else ever reported such an issue... Do you
still have some of the items with missing icons or have you reinstalled
all of them? If you could please look in ~/.cache/upstart/unity8.log or
unity8-dash.log (and the .*.gz ones too, they're the older ones) for
relevant image loading error messages, that could help.

If you have one that's still missing an icon, please look in
~/.local/share/applications, in the relevant .desktop file, for the
Icon= line, and see if the referenced file exists and is a valid icon
file.

Title:
  Some icons are not visible

Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Bought a bq phone with Ubuntu. First thing it does was updating Apps
and the OS to Ubuntu Utopic Unicorn (development branch) - armhf
  (20150410-232623). Build number 21.

Icons are missing at the apps scope as well as in the launcher see:

I can't remember if the icons were visible prior to the OS Update.
