[Bug 1447748] Re: SIM unlock screen unusable when launched from indicator
I have a feeling the breakage here is nothing to do with unlocking from
the indicator, and everything to do with cancelling the dialogue once,
and starting it again.
** Changed in: indicator-network (Ubuntu)

Title:
SIM unlock screen unusable when launched from indicator
Status in indicator-network package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The SIM lock screen behaves differently during boot and launching it
from indicator network. Mostly unusable from indicator to unlock PIN
(those were the failures reported below).
Test case.
- Reboot the phone with a valid SIM card.
- Unlock the device.
- Dismiss the PIN unlock screen.
- Open the network indicator.
- Tap on unlock SIM card.
- Introduce incorrect PINs.
Expected result.
- The behaviour is the same as when the SIM unlock page is run on boot time.
Actual result.
- The number of remaining PIN trials is not correctly shown.
- When the PIN is locked, no PUK lock screen is shown. Must be closed and opened (tap on unlock SIM card in indicator) to be shown.
- After PUK has been correctly introduced, PIN screen should be shown. It is not.
- Close and re-open the screen does show the PIN screen to introduce the new one.
Tested with vivid-proposed 183 / Arale.
