Title:
  save/restore state when app stopped by oom killer

Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  we need to save and restore the current state of the app after it is
  killed by the oom killer and restarted

  Specifically, the following should be saved/restored
  - The current view
  - Any outstanding text in the entry field of the threaded view page (i.e. save/restore the pending message)
