Title:
  package libc-bin 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.2 failed to install/upgrade: exit
  status 132 / ldconfig deferred processing now taking place - Illegal
  instruction

Status in eglibc package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  1) Ubuntu 10.04
  2) Package name is in the above, I believe. I used Update Manager to get it.
  3) I expected the normal install process.
  4) It gave me the error message.

  Thanks for the great service! I really appreciate how easy Ubuntu is
  to use - I've been using it for about 3 months now after using DOS and
  Windows since the DOS 6.22 era. Thanks for a GREAT product!
