Title:
KDE apps crash often due to libc6 bug
Status in eglibc package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
something is wrong with malloc() or free()
look at the bug report at
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196207
and see the endless list (!) of duplicates for different KDE applications. It says "RESOLVED" upstream but on my Kubuntu 10.04 LTS still many KDE apps crash. I have not found the appropriate bug on launchpad yet.
