Title:
cannot set priner driver in GUI in last step (no forward button)
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: cups
i try to set the printer driver for a new printer (kyocera fs-1050d).
i select from the list the printer and then select the driver.
independent of which driver i select, i am asked a question if i want
to merge with previous driver detail or not. independent of the answer
i do not get a 'forward' button to select. thus the process is aborted
and no printer set.
this is a regression bug (it worked in earlier version)
related bug (i can report as separate bug if desired): if the printer is found with 'search for network printer' then the printer driver is set to raw local; this is not good, because it does not allow (for example) to print two pages facing on one sheet.
(this is a new bug - because the search for network printers did not work in the past for me)
i like lucid... few small bugs to iron out! good work!
