[Bug 1450748] Re: NVRM Graphics Exception on resume

I just installed nouveau and after some hick-ups with plasma (mostly
related to dual-monitor) it's working fine now. I was able to
successfully suspend+resume twice in a row. As I said before the problem
is not deterministic so I will keep an eye on whether it fails with
nouveau as well but I think we can work with the assumption that
switching worked around the problem.

Title:
  NVRM Graphics Exception on resume

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When I try to resume (after hibernating) my DELL Latitude E6430
(nvidia prime disabled in bios and NVIDIA driver is correctly being
used) after upgrading to Kubuntu 15.04 I often (but not always I
think) get the text console instead of X and the following error
  message being displayed:

After that I can't do anything but do a hardware power-down and
  restart.
