The problem is manifesting in the live image, I confirmed it with
yesterdays' live image (I haven't tried on bare metal). Please, tell me
if there's anything else I can provide.

  Screen blinking and input resetting on 945GM

Bug description:
  Following the suggestion made by townsend in bug 1434712. I managed to
  log into Unity 8.

  Now when I try to move windows around or when I open the indicators
  menu the screen "blinks". When the "blink" occurs the pointer releases
  the window I had grabbed and the indicator menu closes automatically.

  The blinking seem to be related to me clicking with the mouse, but
  most of the time the screen blinks without me having to do anything.

  My graphics card is Intel's 945GM.
