We simple crash systemd by
# cat /etc/systemd/system/crash.service
[Unit]
Description = Crash Me
[Service]
ExecStartPre =- /usr/bin/printf pre
ExecStart = /usr/bin/printf MAIN
# systemctl daemon-reload
# systemctl start crash

Jeah.
It is all because of the Typo in ExecStartPre.
