Title:
[Dialler] Controls on the in-call screen are inconsistent and
confusing
Status in Ubuntu UX bugs:
Triaged
Status in dialer-app package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Some controls on the in-call screen display icons which shows actions.
These are: "Add call", "Pause call", "Show keyboard" (not sure if
these are proper names). As a user I know what will happen if I tap
them. Problem is with other two controls. They display current state
rather then what will happen after you tap them. One shows icon of
muted speaker, which, in contrary, enables the loudspeaker on the
phone. The other control shows icon of microphone. When you tap it,
phone's mic is switched off. So it's not what icon says.
Please see the attached screenshot for illustration.
