[Bug 1447917] Re: popup volume previewer should not show up when adjusting volume using a volume slider

 

This is a duplicate of bug 1389761, but that has been marked as a
duplicate of bug 1398888, which doesn't mention volume notifications at
all. So even if that's correct, it's unlikely any developers will
understand its importance.

It is also related to bug 652978, which currently focuses mainly on
track changes rather than volume changes, but may share the same
solution.

  Steps
  1. swipe down from Sound Indicator
  2. slide on the volume slider
  => a popup volume previewer shows up
  3. enter "System Settings -> Sound"
  4. slide on the "Ringer" volume slider
  => a popup volume previewer shows up

  Expect
  In step2 and step4, 
  The popup previewer is unexpected, as there is already a slider shows the current volume status.
