Bug description:
  Found this on arale r185

  Open a message thread for User1
  Lock the phone
  Send 4 sms messages from another phone to User1 ("one", "two", "three", "four")
  Unlock the phone

  Expected results:
  - message thread for User1  should show "one", "two", "three", 'four"
  - messaging indicator should be cleared

  Actual results:
  - message thread shows "two", "two", "three", "four"
  - messaging indicator shows "one" still in the indicator
