Title:
[browser] tab switching on tablets/desktop ineffective
Status in Ubuntu UX bugs:
Fix Released
Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Bug description:
The current tab switching behavior is optimized for small screens. On
larger screens, I would expect to have actual tabs to switch with. See
Chrome for Android as an example. On phones, you use a tab switcher
that's similar (though admittedly better) than what we're using here.
On tablets, you have actual, physical tabs. They each work well for
their intended usage.
