Title:
[HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH, recording] Recording problem
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I opened a thread in the forums first. For reference:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2230136&p=13052352
The basic issue is that I got a new Asus S400CA laptop. It has a combo
jack for headphones/mic (like phones do now). With Windows 8, the
headset worked fine (both input and output through the one jack). With
Ubuntu 14.04 it works for output, but not for input.
