In an attempt to get multitouch working on a fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10 I followed the instructions to testing multitouch as indicated here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/Testing. After checking my trackpad did indeed report values I continued to install geisview. Trying to run Geisview only results in the following output in the terminal:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/geisview", line 27, in <module>
import geis
ImportError: No module named 'geis'
I did try running it as root, installing libgeis1, libgeis-dev,
libgeis-doc and python-geis.
Expected Result:
Geisview telling me wheather my device and gesture stack are working or not.
Actual Result:
Geisview crashing.
