Title:
disabling MMS should be configurable
Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in nuntium package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
There should be a setting in the messaging app to disable MMS
completely, such that nuntium and messaging app ignore incoming MMS
messages and don't allow sending outgoing MMS messages.
Currently (about to land) there is a setting in messaging-app to
enable/disable MMS Group Chat. But this doesn't ignore incoming group
chats, it just makes outgoing group messages use multi-recipient sms
rather than sending as MMS group chat.
I propose the settings should be similar to iphone:
2 Settings:
MMS Messaging: on/off
Group Messaging: on/off (should be automatically disabled when MMS Messaging turned off)
