[Bug 1477415] Re: No sound at all snd-hda-intel / ALC260
** Description changed:
Clean installation of the Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS on laptop: no audio card
was detected (Dummy Output). After upgrading to new kernel: was found
and installed the snd-hda-intel for Realtek ALC260 (Digital Output
S/PDIF only), but jack detection not working -> no sound at all (the
driver can't find internal speaker and attached headphones).
The hda-jack-sense-test -a don't show any connection, and the
hdajackretask don't help with reassign pins as internal speaker - Sound
Settings was show Internal Speaker but no sound.
Testing with "options snd-hda-intel model=%MODEL FOR ALC260%" and
updating to the oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms also don't help.

+ The sound is working in Windows.

Title:
No sound at all snd-hda-intel / ALC260
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Clean installation of the Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS on laptop: no audio card
was detected (Dummy Output). After upgrading to new kernel: was found
and installed the snd-hda-intel for Realtek ALC260 (Digital Output
S/PDIF only), but jack detection not working -> no sound at all (the
driver can't find internal speaker and attached headphones).
The hda-jack-sense-test -a don't show any connection, and the
hdajackretask don't help with reassign pins as internal speaker -
Sound Settings was show Internal Speaker but no sound.
Testing with "options snd-hda-intel model=%MODEL FOR ALC260%" and
updating to the oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms also don't help.
The sound is working in Windows.
