[Bug 44836] Re: NFS mounts on clients don't appear in `mount` or `df` output
I am using 14.04 and looks like the problem is still there. Only one nfs
share listed in df, however on mount (what is valid) 8 shares listed.

Title:
NFS mounts on clients don't appear in `mount` or `df` output
Status in coreutils package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in sysvinit package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: coreutils
Hi,
(Could be a bug with either mount, coreutils, the kernel or nfs-
common??)
2 computer config, 1 server, 1 desktop.
Server exports /home (and others) via NFS to desktop.
Desktop has in /etc/fstab :
fitz:/home /home nfs defaults 0 0
fitz:/pub /pub nfs defaults 0 0
File systems are mounted (i.e. I can create files within the NFS filesystem) on the client, but when running `df` or `mount`, they do not appear as being mounted - i.e.
root@bonzo:~# mount
/dev/hda1 on / type reiserfs (rw,notail)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
/sys on /sys type sysfs (rw)
varrun on /var/run type tmpfs (rw)

udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw)

/proc/mounts contains the correct information however :

I'll hope I'm not doing something really stupid, and it's a bug :)
