Title:
OSK autopilot emulator uses sleep as it can't tell when the shift key
is responsive
Status in ubuntu-keyboard package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
There is a very short delay between a key press and when the shift key is able to respond to a press.
Currently there is no way to tell if the shift key is ready to accept taps, so the work-around of a sleep(.2) is used before pressing the shift key.
