[Bug 1479893] [NEW] Disconnecting from or connecting to WiFi networks causes heavy system lag

When getting out of the range of a connected Wifi router (for ex. when I
leave home) as the system changes from Wifi connection to 3G there is a
heavy lag and the system becomes almost unusable, sometimes even
freezes.
