Title:
[Scopes] Need annotations for the "did you mean" results from scopes
scope
Status in Ubuntu UX:
Won't Fix
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
This way, we could offer those results without the user being able to
ask for a preview (and also they probably will look better than now).
Thanks!
Solution
Annotations won't be available for RTM but we are building cards that link to a canned query. You should be able to use those for "did you mean" suggestions, once they land.
------ UX Comment ------
Last Scopes Toolkit spec covers the use of annotations:
https://sites.google.com/a/canonical.com/unity8dash/toolkit/annotations
"Link queries are used in horizontal areas under category or in the
annotation area. They can be used to display related items or related
searches."
