Hi Sebastien,
I am using Ubuntu 15.04 64 bit Desktop fully updated. The desktop environment is the default one, namely Unity.
My laptop is an Asus UX31A.  

The issue appears only when the computer is locked therefore I cannot
print the screen. But simply the empty battery symbol is white instead
of red. It seems inconsistent to me.

  indicator-power battery with locked screen

Status in indicator-power package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When the screen is locked and the battery is very low the battery symbol is always white. 
  Instead I would expect that it becomes red when is low and an exclamation mark inside when is very low (as it happens when the computer is not locked)
