Title:
pulseaudio hangs when using LTSP server with active client
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I'm not sure exactly what starts the problem. I have an up2date lucid
64 bit Desktop install. I have installed and set up a 32 bit LTSP
server on it using the Ubuntu repositories. I have one laptop that I
boot as an LTSP client. My wife logs in on that laptop using a
different account then the one I use on the server.
My wife and I both use Skype. (Skype seems to be involved - not
sure.)
After my wife logs in, and I log in and out a couple of times, all
apps that use pulseaudio, including the volume slider, hang when
trying to interact with pulseaudio.
When I click on the volume slider, I get a dialog stating that the
system is waiting for pulseaudio.
Sorry, I can't nail this down any better.
