[Bug 305996] Re: launchpad tells me to run command that prints assert errror
Another example:
~$ ubuntu-bug apport
~$
(process:4277): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed
The error appears after the system info has been gathered and just as it
brings up this web page.
sudo does not solve the problem.

Title:
launchpad tells me to run command that prints assert errror
Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When trying to report a bug for xserver-xorg-video-intel, then the
launchpad bug reporting tool tells me that I should report this bug
using the command "ubuntu-bug -p xserver-xorg-video-intel" instead so
that logs get automatically attached. However, when I run this command
exactly like it was typed/recommended on launchpad then it prints an
assert error. Maybe this is because the command needs to run as a
super user for certain packages? I'm not sure?
