[Bug 1487103] Re: [PATCH] pam-auth-update - don't break because of trailing whitespace in /usr/share/pam-configs/* files
The attachment "patch for pam-auth-update to make it more resilient
against leading/trailing whitespaces in /usr/share/pam-configs/* files"
seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from
the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the

Bug description:
When a /usr/share/pam-configs/* file contains trailing whitespaces, the resulting entry in /etc/pam.d/* won't be written.
The attached patch fixes this and strips leading/trailing whitespaces where appropriate.
