[Bug 1487154] Re: App stops running, when i swap to other app
Hi Martin,
Thanks for developing for Ubuntu. The behaviour you are describing is by
design. Applications are stopped when they are not actively used by the
user in order to achieve better results in battery lifetime. There is
currently no official way to prevent this. You can find lots of

Bug description:
I want to program a pedometer.
But when I switch between apps, my pedometer stops counting my steps.
So, how can I avoid that?
