[Bug 1463059] Re: [browser] Secure connection icon should indicate level of verification

 

These days we will prompt if a page fails to verify and we allow to
proceed. Not giving a visual cue that the page didn't verify (even after
the user said it wasa ok to go there) is arguably a security issue.

  It should show different icons for self-signed/failed to verify, verified
  standard and verified EV certificates.
