Message #00001
Bug #1359980 - Unable to perform a full kernel crash on Ubuntu 14.10
Hi Mark,
I have a bit more clarity now on this bug we discussed yesterday. Aside from documentation there is actually a change needed in the kexec-tools package. By default the package adds "crashkernel=384M-:128M" to the kernel parameters, but this does not seem to work on Hyper-V. The request in this bug report is to change increase the amount of memory - so change the parameter to "crashkernel=384M-:256M," at least on Hyper-V.
Thanks,
