FW: The Trafodion Component Project Lead ballot is now open
Hi,
A couple of people have asked: Since some of the teams have only one candidate (or have two candidates for two CPL positions), does it still make sense to vote?
The answer is YES! A vote is an affirmation for the individual involved.
I would hate to see a candidate get elected with just one vote. Or worse I'd hate to see an uncontested race have zero votes.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Trafodion developers,
It's time to elect new Component Project Leads (or re-elect current ones)! The term runs for six months.
We have a fine slate of candidates whom you can read about here: https://wiki.trafodion.org/wiki/index.php/January_2015_Elections.
Please vote for a CPL candidate for the team or teams that you are a member of. To see which teams you are a member of, go here: https://wiki.trafodion.org/wiki/index.php/Community#Teams.
I will accept votes until midnight Pacific Standard time, Sunday, February 1, 2015.
How does one vote? Just send me an e-mail, indicating your choice. If you vote more than once I'll take only the last one.
I will announce results on Monday, February 2.
Thanks for your participation,
Dave
