Thread-topic: Master branch migrating to HBase 0.98.4 - this weekend!

Trafodion Developers,

We are planning to migrate to new version of HBase on the master branch this weekend.

*       The change is not backward compatible to current version of HBase.
*       The automated testing (for master branch) will make a hard switchover to new Hadoop distros this weekend.
o       Please do not submit any new changes (or patchsets) on Sunday (U.S. time) until you see an all clear message. (The tests will fail.)
o       It is okay to have reviews in progress, they will test with the new changes after they are merged on Sunday.
*       Monday's daily build will require new distros
o       HortonWorks 2.2
o       Cloudera 5.2 or 5.3  (tested with 5.3)
*       When you rebase or merge your workspace with the new changes, your local_hadoop will need to be updated
o       swuninstall_local_hadoop
o       install_local_hadoop
