Tasks

Hi all,
Yesterday I introduced myself on irc, and I joined the ubforums2ubwiki team.
Like I said on IRC, one of my skills is reviewing, so perhaps there is already a task for me ;) To give you an example, I read the tutorial "Partition basics", http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?&t=282018, and found a few imperfections: 1. A single primary partition may "converted" into an "extended" partition... > ..may be converted...
2. and one extended extended partition > twice the word extended
3. ..Sorry you may not... > Suggestion: I would not use the word sorry at all 4. Suggestion: many words are between quotation marks " ". I doubt if that makes it more readable. e.g. Ubuntu (Linux) "requires" 2 partitions: > why would you put required between ""? 5. ...5 GB (Yes, I know you can go smaller if needed), 15-20 Gb... > either GB or Gb, not both
6. ...easier then /home. > easier than
7. Create an extended from the rest off the space. > off should be of
8. ...without running out of space to soon. > to soon should be too soon
9. ...is faster then GParted. > faster than + GParted should be Gparted
10. The main problem I have had GParted is... > The main problem I have had with.. 11. In this case you do not need do do more then > do do should be to do + more than 12. For a shorter, yet through discussion see > do you mean thorough discussion? Sorry, Bodhi, for using your tutorial as an example ;) The tutorial is very good, so I think it is worth being reviewed and corrected.
See you on #ubuntu-wiki
