Try converting a few pages, if you find something for me to improve /
change pass it on.
My script has a few "sanity checks" and some (primitive) error
handling. I figure you all are not going to try to crash it *too* hard.
Hi Bodhi,
Yes, I tried the script. My previous feedback on your script is not
right. I just opened the .html file that was generated and there you
see the extra information that appears in the side panel in the forums
thread. From Cortman's feedback I conclude that I have to copy part of
the generated .html file (the body text) and paste it on a newly
created .wiki page. Is that correct? I have not yet created wiki
pages, so I'll have to experiment with this.
Greets,
Hannie
Yes - once you have the file the tool creates - paste that into the wiki.
There is a sandbox you can experiment with at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ForumWikiTeam/Sandbox
nothingspecial saw that the tool is in fact picking the first 10 posts
so use the url for post #1 in the tool
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=800462&postcount=1 for example
