Hey everyone - not only has the work we have been doing been noticed,
but there is in fact a new kid on the block.
Bodhi has unfortunately for us stepped down from staff duties on the
forum - both as mod and as admin. I am fairly sure though that he'll
see this ...
One of the other members of staff that work with this team was
honoured to be be asked to be part of the Forum Council ...
I am both glad and proud to name bodhi as one of my friends
within the framework of the greater Ubuntu in both 'ubuntu' and life
matters.
I have learnt an enormous amount from him in the last 5 years.
Just to reaffirm my position
I am fully committed to the work you and I are doing
I fully intend to progress this project to where we all
envisaged it going when we first talked
I am extremely proud of what has been achieved up to now - it
is even better now that we are actually getting wiki before thread -
THIS IS GOOD - BE PROUD :)
I shall be making sure that this important project gets mentioned
during the monthly FC meetings - if nothing else as a progress report,
I would be eternally grateful if we could arrange that someone other
than Elfy reports to Elfy during the meetings.
I expect to bringing it up monthly.
In this way I hope to make our project show it's face - I also hope to
carry it further to include AskBuntu - this was Bodhi Zazen's hope.
All of the fiddling and faffing about that I did when we first started
our work was in fact aimed at making a simple bombproof process able
to deal with both forum threads and AskBuntu posts - we do in fact the
basis of a tool to work with AU.
IT is in fact a*Grand Projec**t *we have here - there is an enormous
well of knowledge out there.
You have all played an enormous part so far - I hope that you will be
able to work with the team to take it to the next level.
It is NOT unachievable... make no bones about it though - it will not
be easy - we CAN do it though - we just need more people ...
These people will I hope join us as we carry on with this grand
undertaking.
If there is anything that nay of you have thought we need to do -
please speak up - I know that at present there are few of us - lets
get the last bit's of foundation laid - the future awaits us.
