Hi
I'm just jumping in here. I know this project have been in the works
for some time now and that feature-freeze is approaching. I haven’t
read all the mailing posts, so feel free to silence me by replying
"this has already been discussed" ;-)

The Ubiquity slideshow is a fantastic idea. I saw the YouTube video
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1_EqEYGbGI) and felt I had to comment
on the lack of slickness (my own personal opinion). Although the
current slideshow looks good, it looks kind of out-dated.

I've created two mockups and they are in no way perfect. All I really
want to illustrate is that the current layout looks messy and a
simpler layout might work better.

Is the art-team involved in this project?
Can anyone please refresh how much space is available for this project?

Please note that this, no matter how harsh my words may sound, is
meant as constructive criticism. In the end we all work together
because we want Ubuntu to kick ass!
